CloudScope (“CloudScope”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the CloudScope.io website and related services (collectively, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information. By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

  • Identifiers: name, email address, phone number, company, account identifiers.
  • Commercial data: subscription tier, order history (processed by payment providers).
  • Usage & device data: IP address, browser/OS, pages viewed, events, timestamps.
  • Support content: messages, attachments, and metadata you provide to Support.
  • Messaging data: mobile phone number, text messaging opt-in status, consent source, consent timestamp, message preferences, and message records when you choose to receive SMS or MMS messages from us.

2. Sources of Personal Information

We collect information directly from you, automatically from your device, and from service providers (e.g., analytics, payment processors, email providers).

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide and maintain the Service (including authentication and account servicing).
  • Process orders, subscriptions, and billing via third-party processors.
  • Improve reliability, security, and performance; debug and prevent fraud/abuse.
  • Communicate important Service updates, transactional emails, and, if you separately opt in, SMS/MMS notifications or marketing messages.

  • Contract: to provide the Service you request.
  • Legitimate interests: security, fraud prevention, product improvement, and analytics.
  • Consent: where required (e.g., certain cookies/marketing). You may withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legal obligation: compliance with applicable laws and requests.

5. How We Share Information

We share information with vendors acting on our behalf (“processors/sub-processors”), including hosting, analytics, email, and payments. We require appropriate contractual safeguards and use providers that implement reasonable security controls. We do not sell your personal information.

SMS and mobile information: We do not sell, rent, release, disclose, disseminate, make available, transfer, or otherwise communicate your mobile phone number, text messaging opt-in data, or text messaging consent status to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. All the categories of sharing described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with third parties except aggregators and service providers solely as necessary to deliver our text messages, operate the messaging program, or comply with law.

6. Cookies and Preferences

We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and analyze usage. Manage cookies via your browser or our Cookie Policy. We honor browser-level Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where required. We do not respond to legacy Do Not Track signals.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and legal requirements.

8. Security

  • Transport security via HTTPS/TLS; hardened infrastructure and access controls.
  • Least-privilege and role-based access for personnel.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International Transfers

If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your data may be processed in the U.S. or other jurisdictions with different privacy laws. Where applicable, we rely on transfer mechanisms such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a portable copy of your data, and to object to certain processing.

  • EU/UK: rights under GDPR/UK GDPR; you may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
  • California (CCPA/CPRA): right to know, delete, correct, and limit the use of sensitive personal information; right to non-discrimination. We do not “sell” personal information as defined by CCPA/CPRA.

11. Automated Decision-Making

We do not use automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects without human involvement.

12. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18. If you believe a minor has provided personal data, contact us to request deletion.

13. Communications Preferences

You may manage marketing email preferences via unsubscribe links. Transactional emails (e.g., password resets, receipts, notices about your account) are required for Service delivery.

SMS/MMS messages are sent only where you provide separate consent or otherwise initiate a text conversation with us. Message frequency varies by program and your interaction with the Service. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of SMS/MMS messages at any time by replying STOP; for help, reply HELP or contact info@cloudscope.io.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice (e.g., email or in-app). Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
