Viewing Sentiment in Twitter Posts and Mentions

The new CloudScope 1.2 release is rolling out and a key feature in this release is sentiment analysis.

Sentiment analysis is a machine-based evaluation of a text's positive or negative sentiment. Sentiment analysis is evaluated on a scale of 0 to 100, where 100 is the most positive.

You can view and analyze sentiment analysis on the tweets that you write. Are you being generally positive in your message? But the power behind sentiment analysis really displays when you evaluate what others are saying about your brand.

Sentiment analysis

Using CloudScope's sentiment analysis features, you can instantly see posts that mention your account in a positive way. You might retweet these messages, like them, or highlight them in some other way such as on your company's blog. This reinforcement will likely generate additional positive messages over time.

However, you can also identify posts that mention your account in a negative way. You can then reach out and engage with those users and try to turn a negative experience into a positive one. According to Entrepreneur magazine, engaging in actual conversations with your audience is key to an effective social media presence.

Sentiment analysis is just one of several exciting features in the 1.2 release. You can see the release now on your embedded Reports page on www.cloudscope.io. And it will be appearing soon on CloudScope reports which you installed from AppSource.
