We’re excited to announce that new versions of our popular visuals—Image, Image Pro, Video, and Video Pro—are now available or in the process of being released on AppSource. These updated versions come with new visual identifiers (IDs) due to potential compatibility issues with previous versions.
Because of these new IDs, a manual update is necessary if you’re using the older versions of these visuals in your Power BI reports. To transition to the latest version, please download the new visuals from AppSource and update your reports accordingly.
Licenses for the previous versions are not compatible with these new releases. If you have an existing license for Image, Image Pro, Video, or Video Pro, you will need to purchase a new license for the updated versions. Each AppSource license includes a 30-day free trial, giving you the opportunity to explore the new visuals before committing.
Good news: If you’re using Power BI Desktop, the new versions of our visuals will continue to be available for free, allowing you to design your reports without the need for licensing.
If you currently have an annual license with time remaining, we’ve got you covered! Please contact CloudScope Support, and we’ll issue you a license key to cover the remaining period of your previous license at no additional cost.
