There is currently an issue with the Power BI cloud service (app.powerbi.com). CloudScope for Twitter is experiencing errors when run from the Power BI cloud service, which causes data loading to the Power BI service from CloudScope to fail. This issue was first reported on April 13th, 2018. Data loading to CloudScope from Twitter is unaffected and is continuing for all accounts.
If you're an existing CloudScope customer that has previously installed from AppSource, you will see errors that look like this:
COM error: Microsoft.PowerBI.DataMovement.Pipeline.MashupCommon; Could not extract data source references from M connection string. A connection could not be made to the data source with the Name of '82ff2068-82e4-49a9-943a-3779166c24c7'.
If you are a new customer trying to install CloudScope from AppSource, you'll be stuck on a dialog that says
Please hold on while we load a few things.
This issue has been reported to Microsoft and we are waiting to hear what they recommend. In the meantime, you can view CloudScope reports using the Power BI Desktop application, or via the Power BI embedded view at https://www.cloudscope.io/reports.
Thank you for your patience while we resolve this issue.
